My medium is the human body. 

 

I create live performances using movements, voices, sound and video to give voices to the silenced inner land scape of our lives. These performances take places in the theater, streets, train stations, parks, elevators, my kitchen and bathrooms. 

 

In my work people speak in different languages, and they don’t understand each other, but they think they do. But they don’t. But they do. 

 

I create performances to understand what happens between people, places, and themselves. I want to understand what our differences mean, what our similarities mean. How do we disconnect, and how do we connect? 

 

Through my work I hope to have people peel their own layers of being, see the rainbows in the  mundane, humor in tragedy, and the beauty in their own contradiction, multiplicity and idiosyncrasy.
